WOW the films here were bad. WoW the festival was poorly organized. There was essentially no promotion. All of the screening were just private screenings for the filmmakers and their friends. This festival is basically all about letting douchebag wannabe “filmmakers” tell people they got into a film festival in NYC. Such a joke. The Frank Sinatra Center (the main venue) is great.

Yikes. 1/2 dozen films cancelled or postponed. Main venture had a 11pm hard stop, and by the third night they still didn’t inform film makers or festival goers about that. so the films scheduled for 10pm got nixed to the next day. Frank Sinatra building is a beautiful venue. One screening had a 12-15 year old moderator that didn’t even introduce the films, just worked the apple laptop.

Party venue was too chi chi. mandatory coat check at $3/item for a roop top party that was partially outdoors and the temperature was about 45 each night. not sure who is running this show but man, get on the ball.
