Acorns

This was one of my best film festival experiences back in 2006. The festival flew me down to Sarasota from Minneapolis, had a limo waiting for me at the airport that took me to the hotel room they provided me for three nights. I also had a limo on call whenever I wanted to go anywhere. There was also a great filmmaker lounge at the main venue with free food and drinks. Other than film festival souvenirs, I don’t think I spent a dollar while I was there. The main venue was a multiplex, so very easy to get from screening to screening. They didn’t invite me back with my next feature in 2007, but I won’t hold that against them. A class act all the way.
