A big thanks and congratulations to Ryan, Gary, Jeannie and everyone else who worked so hard to put on such a great festival this year! I had a fantastic time at the 2010 LA Comedy Shorts Fest. Good programming, great screening attendance and terrific parties! Incredibly impressed by the festival and I can’t wait to return next year. By far it’s one of the best I’ve ever been to!

This festival rocks! The guests were first rate, the people organizing were great, and the selections were really funny. There were plenty of informational events to attend, and the meet and greets were informal and friendly. Made a lot of quality contacts here. Not to be missed.

I could not believe this was the first year for this fest, because it was thoughtfully programmed, professionally managed, and drew large, smart, enthusiastic crowds. It was fun, collegial, and engrossing. It really elevated the comedic short film form into something fully worthy of its own fest, and I cannot wait to attend again next year.

Amazing amazing amazing. So much fun both at the screenings and at the parties. I went with a friend who thought it would be lame. She was so wrong! I’m going again this year.

Very well run and organized festival. Loved the vibe, loved the people, loved the parties. Our overall experience there was excellent and the awards ceremony was intimate and hilarious. And it had Mark Hamil.

I don’t think filmmakers realize that the comedy short is the red-headed autistic stepchild of the short film world and that this festival caters to them alone.

LA Comedy Shorts was our first festival, and set us up for incredibly unattainable expectations for all that followed. This festival was very well organized, well programmed and truly aimed at benefiting the filmmaker in every way. Each night felt like a separate event unto itself, which promoted a positive vibe among all attendees and filmmakers. That sense of community was perhaps the one aspect that really put it above above all the rest. I can’t wait to go again.

I have been to sooo many film festivals and this one is one of the best! It is so well-organized and well-run, that all you have to do is show up, see a ton of funny stuff, go to great parties, meet awesome people and have the time of your life. Easy enough!

Great festival. Great shorts, great events nightly, well organized, and the staff was amazingly friendly. I’m trying to get a short finished before the deadline just to be a part of this festival again next year.

This festival was a blast – Unbelievably the first of its kind here in LA – tons of Stars and Plenty of funny! If you have a comedy short – this would be the one to get into.
